Magnolia Science Academy - MORE of the dog and pony show by the Pacifica Institute

One thing the Gulen Movement does well is put on a "show" or "appearance", they do this via their multitude of Gulen NGOs (non-governmental organizations) that are layered around each cluster of schools.  In California, they have Pacifica Intsitute that sponsors the Anatolia Festival in Irvine.  With regional "Noah's Pudding" or Ashure evenings put on by the ladies group of the Pacifica Insitute.  In addition, they also co-sponsor many of the schools contests and events: Turkish Olympiads, Science Olympiad, I-SWEEP, Math Matters and Math Counts.  Generally the Gulen Charter Schools win prizes or awards at their own event that is usually advertised on the Internet and local newspapers. 
As you may or may not know (depending on how far you are with your Gulen research) the Gulen $25 Billion empire also consists of media ownership (in America it is Today's Zaman, Fountain Publishing and ERBU TV)  they act as a advertising maching for Gulen, his schools and Gulen Movement.

If they conduct this Children's festival like the festival in Texas, they will be busing in students from Gulen charter schools, in Northern California that would be: Magnolia Science Academy Santa Clara, Bay Area Technology School in Oakland, CA and Pacific Technology in S. Sacramento (Orangevale)   The Gulen Movement is working very hard to expand in Northern California.  It will be interesting to see which school the Turkish dancers come from. 
The Pacifica Insitute (aka Turkey Lobbying) also visits many legislature, members of congress and other people.  They are inviting them to dinners to give them "awards" and forge alliances with them.  Many politicians are starting to realize this is part of a bigger picture.  They have also visited with members of the Hawaii Senate where they recently got HCR 30 and HR 37 passed.  A memorandum of "understanding" between Hawaii and Turkey.
